Admissions Coordinator-Social Service

General Functions: Facilitates the daily operation of the admissions office in accordance with Pleasant Ridge Manor (PRM) policies and procedures. Serves as the PRM liaison to hospitals and other community health care facilities and agencies. Promotes PRM to the community as a resource for skilled nursing care. Responds to all inquiries regarding potential admissions. Coordinates and arranges for the entry of new admissions, working with residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Authority to exercise decision making: Exercises high level of decision-making responsibility and authority with regards to coordinating referrals for admissions, and sharing information. Consult other Department Heads and/or Administration on decisions affecting other areas and/or of a specialized nature.

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Health-related field or Marketing preferred.

Experience: Two (2) year's in health care facility, preferably in a skilled nursing environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00-$22.00
